ECC is piloting a home school program for local high school students who have dropped out of the public high school and/or cannot afford to attend the local high school. Not only is it very costly for families to send students to high school but for many teenagers, their families prefer that they start working instead. Maestro en Casa is an accredited home school program that will allow for high school students to continue their high school education right in Pavones instead of traveling one hour both ways to the local public high school. Through this program, ECC will provide an affordable education as well as a flexible schedule that will engage Pavones’ growing rate of high school dropouts and enable them to succeed.
